Description

BURNT UMBER TERRAIN PAINT is a water-based scenic pigment designed for coloring terrain materials used in model railroads, dioramas, and landscape modeling projects. It is formulated to penetrate porous surfaces such as plaster cloth, foam, Flex Paste, wood, plaster, and papier-mâché, producing a rich dark brown earth tone while preserving fine surface texture.

Unlike standard acrylic paint, it behaves more like a stain, allowing natural details such as rock carving, soil texture, and terrain relief to remain visible while adding a realistic earthy base color. It is widely used for ground work, weathering, and rock coloration in scenic builds.
